Studies have shown that most men over the age of 40 struggle with erectile dysfunction (ED). The other alternatives that can be used of the treatment of ED include supplements of zinc and this can be given to those who have a low level of zinc. There are also other herbs that can be used and they include Indian ginseng and ashwagandha and this have been shown to improve the symptoms of ED. There are also other erectile dysfunction medications that can be used to treat and they include Cialis, Viagra and Levitral and this work by increasing the flow of blood to the sexual organs. The men who suffer from conditions that affect the heart are encouraged to avoid using ED drugs and seek the advice of their doctor. It is advisable for the patient to talk to their doctor concerning the options that are available. ED is a common condition that can be treated and men are advised not to suffer in silence.
