Natural Remedies For Erectile Dysfunction and Declining Sexual Stamina

Traditional Chinese medicine has been promoting natural and herbal remedies for erectile dysfunction and declining sexual stamina for hundreds of years. There is documentation going back to 200 AD on the success of natural remedies and their role in the connectivity between humans and nature.

Several of the natural ingredients have been tested with documented results of some form since that time. The typical natural remedies are composed of 1 or more of the following ingredients.

1. Carthamoides Extract - an adaptogen which has traditionally used for fatigue, impotence and recovery from long illness.

2. Rhodiola Rosea - effective for improving mood, alleviating depression, improving physical and mental performance and may reduce fatigue.

3. Tongkat Ali - popular supplement for testosterone-enhancing properties. Included in supplements for bodybuilders.

4. Siberian Ginseng Extract - possesses medicinal properties for increased endurance, memory improvement, anti-inflammatory and immunogenic.

5. Cayenne - soothing effect on digestive tract and aid in treatment of migraines, toothaches, fevers, physical endurance, sprains and muscle pains.

6. Grape Seed Extract - may be useful to treat heart diseases such as high blood pressure and high cholesterol.

7. Cynomorium Songaricum - therapeutic in sexual enhancement, nourishes bone and muscle, moisturizes the intestine and relaxes the bowels.

8. Kwaopet - a male enhancement product from Thailand that claims to increase the quality of erections.

Reviewing the benefits of each of the above ingredients gives a good indication of how each would contribute as a remedy to erectile dysfunction and reduced sexual stamina. Carthamoides Extract is used for impotence and fatigue; Rhodiola Rosea for improving physical performance; Tongkat Ali for testosterone enhancement; Siberian Ginseng Extract increased endurance; Cayenne increasing physical endurance; Grape Seed Extract for high blood pressure that can be one of the causes of erectile dysfunction; Cynomorium Songaricum for sexual enhancement; and Kwaopet for male enhancement.

Most of these ingredients have been through some form of testing and have some supporting documentation in the Western Cultures but are not considered to be in the mainstream of the remedies like the prescription drugs formulated for erectile dysfunction. As a result, there is a bit of a stigma associated with using the herbal or natural remedies.

The herbal and natural remedies are generally much less expensive and easier to come by (no doctor visit or prescription required) than the popular prescribed remedies of the Western Cultures. Given the herbal and natural remedies are legal, it may be prudent for those suffering from erectile dysfunction and declining sexual stamina to give the herbal remedies a try to see if they get the expected results. Compare the results to prescription drugs if they have already been prescribed or try the herbal remedies before making an appointment to get a prescription.
